We have frozen bait, plenty of cold beer and soda, and tackle. Please feel free to stop by or call for more information. You can also watch this space for updated details.
Genung's is located on the banks of what Matanzas Riverkeeper Neil Armingeon (whose office is on site) likes to call "Florida's last, best river." The waters surrounding Genung's are teeming with life, including numerous species of waterfowl, dolphins, fish (of course!), and even the occasional manatee. Oyster bars emerge from the river on a dropping tide, and tidal creeks wind their way through the acres of life-sustaining marsh grasses on the west side of the waterway. Also just across the river is the spectacular Moses Creek, a freshwater creek that flows into the Matanzas River, just north of the SR206 bridge.
We offer both kayak and fishing skiff rentals to enjoy on the waterway, so call us for details.
Genung's offers boat slip rental on a space-available basis, by the day, week, month or year. We have a kayak/canoe launch area, and you can also store your kayak/canoe on the property. Again, call us for details.
***If you have a boat stored on Genung's property that hasn't been used/registered since November, or know someone that does, please contact us as soon as possible, as we are updating our records. Boats that haven't been updated/paid by June 30, 2016 will be considered abandoned property.
